Every rule is transcribed from the organization's own rulebook, bylaws or rules page and linked with its retrieval date (2026-10-16). Fields the source does not state are left blank ("not stated"). Certification marks: USABat (USA Baseball), USSSA 1.15 BPF, BBCOR .50 and one-piece wood. Upcoming changes: USA BBCOR goes on sale July 1, 2027. NFHS adds USABat -4, -5 and -6 bats from 2028. NCAA requires USA BBCOR only from January 1, 2029.
Events can add bans (such as the USSSA or Perfect Game banned-bat lists). Always check the event's own rules.
